MEMS foundry Asia Pacific Microsystems (APM) plans to ramp its capacity by 60-70% before mid-2011, with a budget of NT$200 million (US$6.27 million), according to company CEO and president YH Tsai.

More MEMS IDMs have outsourced orders to dedicated foundries, with APM being one of the beneficiaries, said Tsai.
