Asia Pacific Microsystems Appoints Mr. Chia Pin Lee as Vice Chairman and Dr. Jason Wu as President

July 1, 2024 - Hsinchu, Taiwan - Asia Pacific Microsystems, Inc. (APM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Chia Pin Lee as Vice Chairman and Dr. Jason Wu as President.

 

With the approval of the Board of Directors, Mr. Chia Pin Lee will take on the role of Vice Chairman at APM and join the management team in their collective efforts for the company. Mr. Lee brings over 40 years of extensive experience in semiconductor technology and business operations, having previously served as Executive President at Unimicron and Vice President at UMC.

 

Dr. Jason Wu brings over 20 years of experience working with multidisciplinary teams in the US and Taiwan, specializing in the technical development of MEMS and sensors as well as business operations. Since joining APM in 2014, he has held various business development and sales roles.

 

Mr. KH Jao, who has served as President since 2015, will continue to support APM as a senior advisor. Currently, APM is a key manufacturing partner in MEMS and sensors for a diverse range of products, including pressure sensors, inkjets, environmental sensors, and specialized microstructures for optical communications. With this leadership transition, APM is committed to further improving our product quality and services, strengthening partnerships, and expanding capabilities in the sensor-related business sector.
