  • Tzyy Jang, Tseng
    Chairman of the Board
    Mr. Tseng is also the chairman of Unimicron Corporation, the largest PCB substrate company in the world. In 2007, Unimicron Corporation became a major shareholder of APM, and transformed it into one of the world's largest independent MEMS foundries. Before Unimicron, Mr. Tseng served as senior vice president in United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) and was the chairman of Taiwan Printed Circuit Association. Mr. Tseng holds a master degree in physics from the National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan and was elected as the distinguished alumnus of the National Tsing Hua University in 2009.
  • Chia Pin, Lee
    Vice Chairman
    Mr. Lee brings over 40 years of extensive experience in semiconductor technology and business operations to APM. Before joining APM, Mr. Lee held several prominent positions, including Executive President, President of the Carrier Business Division at Unimicron and Vice President at UMC. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the Oregon State University.
  • Jason Wu, PhD.
    President
    Dr. Wu brings over 20 years of experience working with multidisciplinary teams in the US and Taiwan, specializing in the technical development of MEMS and sensors as well as business operations. Before joining APM, he oversaw the development of infrared sensor arrays in the United States. Since joined APM in 2014, he has held various business development and sales roles. Dr. Wu holds a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
  • Jerwei Hsieh, PhD.
    Vice President
    Dr. Hsieh received his Ph.D degree at National Tsing-Hua University, and conducted his postdoctoral research as a visiting scholar at Stanford University. He had been served in National Applied Research Laboratories, Startup company, and MEMS Foundry, with over 20 years MEMS development experiences. He is now in charge of APM R&D activities and new technology development, as well as introducing clients’ new products to production.
  • Ruey-Shing(Star) Huang, PhD.
    Senior Consultant
    Dr. Huang was one of co-founders and served several years as CTO of APM. Currently he acts as Senior Consultant of the company and brings over 45 years of experience in semiconductor and MEMS processing technology. Prior to joining APM, he was a professor of National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan and had also lectured at University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia. Dr. Huang has published numerous papers and holds several patents. In addition, he worked to promote MEMS industrial technology in Taiwan and served a consultant of ITRI’s MEMS projects. Also, he joined initiating MEMS program in National Science Council in Taiwan and served as an initial program manager with the effort to actively promote the activities of academic fundamental research and development.
